The SunTrip Samoyeds & A Border Collie is a family of
dogs who live, work and play in northern Nevada. I don't have
a kennel, but chose the name SunTrip several years ago as a way to
identify my dogs, regardless of which kennel they come from. SunTrip was chosen to honor Tripper,
our first dog, and to reflect our appreciation of all the sunny days we
had in New Mexico, and now in Nevada. This choice was made back in
the days before Google, and by
someone who had never been to southern California. . .who knew there was
a travel agency named Sun Trips?!
- Webster
is retired.
- Gracie
has retired from Agility Competition, but not ready to retire from everything, she goes herding every now and then. Gracie has one leg toward her Rally Novice title, and we'll try to finish that title this year.
- Pogo
is training for agility, and competing in conformation, working toward her AKC Championship; she currently has nine points and one major. Pogo works sheep now and then, and has two legs toward her Rally Novice title. Her most important role right now is raising the Border Collie puppy
- Jane
is the new kid on the block. She's learning the ropes. I plan to do herding and agility with her.

I am a member of The
Samoyed Club of America, The
Organization for the Working Samoyed, The Barbary Coast Samoyed Club and Quicksilver Agility
Club. I have never bred a litter and don't have any puppies or
dogs available. But, I am happy to refer future Samoyed owners to
good breeders and rescue groups. If you're looking for a Samoyed
breeder, check the breeder
referral list at the SCA's website, or click the button below for SamBEAR.

This site is under major re-construction. I
don't have the dogs' individual pages with pedigrees and show wins, etc.
ready yet. Please check back often. You can view the old
